Description
Ty Karim 45 on Senator Records Description: This auction is for an extremely nice copy of Ty Karim's "You Really Made it Good to Me" (A side) and "All at Once" (B side), on the Senator Records label. This disc comes from a large collection of records that were all in sealed envelops from "B-Atlas & Jody Records, Inc." label. The record is in M- or better condition. I cannot find ANY flaws on the record at all...I would not hesitate to call it mint, but with this being such a rare record I would rather be just a hair conservative in my grading. We were actually fortunate enough to find 2 of these in a collection we purchased earlier this year; the other one sold last October. We have pictured both below--you are bidding on the set on the left. They were both in identical condition, except this one may have just a very slightly better label. You are also bidding on the original mailer, a nice piece of history and provenance of the record. I'm not sure if the record has ever been played; as we stated, these were all in sealed envelops, and none of the discs show any sign of being played, but we can't say for sure they haven't. But man, the condition is incredible! A very rare opportunity to own a copy this nice. Maybe the only opportunity!
