Description
Near Mint [NM or M-]: A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious sign of wear. An LP jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either.
EX-Excellant.No noticable defects on record. High gloss. LP jacket will show only slight wear from handling and storage.
Very Good Plus [VG+]: Shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. LP jacket may have light wear from handling.
Very Good [VG]: Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail that will affect the sound. LP jacket will have handling and storage issues. Light scuffs, scratches, edge wear, faint ring image.
Good [G], Good Plus [G+]: A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. Cover will have ring image, rounded corners, notch, name written, excessive scuffs, scratches, seem splits, price tag, or price tag removal spot, hole punch.
Goldmine grading standards. Records are visually graded. Very rare Led Zeppelin II 1969 White Label Promo-SD 8236-Ist Pressing. This copy has the "RL"-Robert Ludwig- in the trail off wax. Have tried to take a photo. This is a rare edition in any condition. Better conditioned copies have sold for $350.00 to $850.00, Check under sold items for Led Zeppelin II white label promo. Neither stated if the RL was in the trail off wax. Which makes it highly rare. I consider myself a conservative accurate grader. Check my feedback. The cover is Good condition. Rounded corners, see photo. Light scuffs and soiling on front. Faint ring image and scuffs on back side. Missing original sleeve, new one as replacement. The record has multiple scratches on both sides that will affect play-Good. This is not a play and enjoy record. I'm only listing it because of its rarity. This hard to find record in this condition would be a great starter example until a better copy could be found. If you can find one. I am assuming that whats left of the available copies that were issued to radio stations in 1969 must be in the 500 or less edition. Nice edition for the Zep collector who is looking to find all the LP variations. Any questions please ask. Listing for $199.99 OBO.
