Description

This extremely rare 45 RPM Northern Soul record by Fortson and Scott, titled "My Dreams of You/ Sweet Lover," is a must-have for any soul and R&B collector. The vinyl is in excellent shape and the record grading is near mint, making it a great addition to any collection; in fact, the single appears to have been previously unplayed (an audio sample is included with the pictures above.)
Its provenance is from a small collection of promotional and advance singles from 1968 that were never distributed to the public. The final auction value of this single the few times it has surfaced anywhere in this condition (3 times in three years +?) has ranged from roughly $2700 to $3500 USD.
