Description
Blue Note Records #4146, Dexter Gordon “Our Man In Paris”, from 1963. With Bud Powell, Pierre Michelot, and Kenny Clarke. Jacket looks good, would look great except for a small area of damage lower left (see pic). Other than that, sturdy, clean with no writing or splitting. Blue Note inner sleeve has a tiny tear, slightly yellow around edges. New York USA labels are clean, no writing or spindle marks. Van Gelder and ear stamped vinyl plays…great! Side 1 visually, one or two faint hairlines, side 2 has a couple more faint lines. Nothing audible on side 1, a little faint noise between tracks. Side 2 track 2 has some very light clicks, really doesn’t detract though. Vinyl overall is VG+/VG++ condition.
See me 130 other auctions for classic jazz LPs. Don’t be put off by the low starting bids (90% of them start at $1.99). They are original, vintage (many are promos) 1950s thru early 1970s jazz. I just need to make some room in my house for some more goodies. My lack of space is your stroke of luck. Stay tuned for hundreds of gospel LPs and 45s.
Gradings:
M : Mint ( I never say mint, bogue, stone fox or “holy grail”).
NM: Near Mint, Very clean, maybe 1 or 2 very light marks but sound is like new.
VG++: Very glossy, any scratches or marks will be very light and barely affecting play.
VG+: Still glossy, possibly some very light crackle, some fine lines, still plays well.
VG: Used record, some crackle, no loud pops or skips; plays ok.
VG- : Some loud crackle, pops, a skip, probably not much gloss left
Please wait for invoice before paying. I will send them out on Thursday the 19th at the latest.
Note to international buyers. Packages totaling $75 or more will be shipped USPS Express Mail International. This includes tracking and is more expensive, around $15 for 1-10 45s, 1-2 LPs. Any questions please ask.
