BARRY BROWN (actually ROD TAYLOR ?) - Mr C.I.D / SCIENTIST & THE ROOTS RADICS BAND - King Tubby's Rockers (Attack TACK17) - 12"- 1979 Well used but not abused original pressing of this Attack 12" featuring the heavyweight roots killer Mr C.I.D, credited to Barry Brown but actually thought to be Rod Taylor, which segues into its dub, backed by Scientist & The Roots Radics' mighty full-length dub. Produced by Linval Thompson, recorded at Channel One, and mixed at King Tubby's. The vinyl retains a decent sheen with light and lightish surface marks, some light and lightish hairlines and a few fine, light scratches - nothing serious - see descriptions below. The record actually plays better than it looks. A-side: There is a very small / small improving to tiny / very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny and very small pops and clicks plus an occasional slightly more prominent one. Grade - VG+ improving to VG+/EX-
B-side: There is a very small / small improving to tiny / very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny and very small pops and clicks plus an occasional slightly more prominent one. Grade - VG+ improving to VG+/EX-
Labels: Both labels are clean and tidy (see scan).
