Great and rare picture sleeve for The Beatles with Tony Sheridan on MGM 13227 : Why / Cry For A Shadow. This auction is for the picture sleeve ONLY! Sleeve is in pretty nice shape and displays well. The bright areas near the top of the sleeve are from the light used when taking the pictures. There are some signs of wear including some light soiling and creasing from when the record was inside the sleeve. There is also a one inch split to the bottom seam. The other seams show some light wear, but are not split. The pictures tell the story on this rare sleeve. Still very presentable and would go great with a nice copy of the 45! Please see my other auctions.

Grading Scale:

NM = A near perfect record in every way. Record shows no obvious signs of wear.

VG++ = Somewhere between VG+ and Near Mint.

VG+ = Record has been played, but previous owner took good care of it. Record will have light scuffs or light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. VERY little to no background/surface noise will be heard while the record is playing.

VG = Light to moderate Background/surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's fade and intro. This background noise will not overpower the music otherwise, however. Groove wear and light scratches (deep enough to affect sound) will be noticeable. Still a nice record.

VG- = Somewhere between VG and G+.

G/G+ = Significant surface noise upon playing. Scratches and visible groove wear will be evident. Record will play through without skipping or sticking however.

Fair/Poor = I do not ever sell records at this grade, but they would be cracked, severly warped, with skips or sticks, or have obvious signs of HEAVY play. Basically it will serve better as a coaster than a record.
