Description
Over the next few weeks I will be listing lots of Prog/Psych/Folk/classic rock albums from the late sixties-early seventies, these are all from the same source, some rarities, some more mundane, but nearly all of them have been kept in EX to Nr. Mint condition.
At auction here is a really nice example of the rare 1969 UK original LP by HIGH TIDE titled “SEA SHANTIES” on the LIBERTY label (Blue labels) No. LBS 83264 with first pressing matrix Nos. A//1 & B // 1.
High Tide were Tony Hill (Guitar) Simon House (Violin) Peter Pavli (Bass) & Roger Hadden (Drums).
Tracks; Futilist’s Lament – Death Warmed Up – Pushed, But Not Forgotten – Walking Down Their Outlook – Missing Out - Nowhere
They only made two albums and both have now become Progressive Psych Rock collectables, especially in the condition that this one is, apart from one light non-feelable mark on side two track one which gives one or two light clicks the record is in EX condition, labels just the odd light spindle mark.
The gatefold cover also is in EXCELLENT condition, fully intact, no rips , tears or writing, just light handling marks and a tint bit of sticker damage on front which is hardly noticeable with cover being white.
Overall a really nice collectable.
