Original 1967 First State Buffalo Springfield ATCO 33-200 Mono PROMO LP with "Baby Don't Scold Me" on the flip side, which was replaced by "For What It's Worth" on later examples.

This is a very nice example- I sincerely doubt the album was ever played. NO scratches (even small ones) on either side - even at the intro and trail-off. The disc retains full, beautiful gloss, and pristine white labels. The sleeve has the slightest, smallest, lightest scuffs across the top as from contact with another album (on the notoriously susceptible black background), and a small red mark at bottom center on the reverse (I believe original to the LP... probably as occurred in printing)..... otherwise NO splits, tears, evidence of moisture, etc. The inner sleeve is original, and is quite solid but for a clean 1" split along the middle at the right edge, exactly where one would typically expect to find same.

This album was among a collection of early -mid 1960's LP's which contained much promo material, though for the most part all classical.... the apparent "true" taste of the original owner. Not sure how "he" might have wound up with this particular album, but certainly easy to see (given his rather narrow tastes) how it managed to avoid getting play. And I must reiterate.... lest someone think I exaggerate.... there simply is no visible evidence that a needle ever touched this disc. I guess his loss, our gain... at least as I see it. An outstanding example of a scarce "First State" promotional LP...

Stephen Stills... Neil Young....

As always:

NO RESERVE!!

Winning bidder pays $5.50 for securely packaged Priority Mail shipping and handling to destinations within in the U.S.

Foreign customers are welcomed, but should be aware that shipping will likely be more, and in some cases substantially so. All payments must be in U.S. $ funds, payable in the U.S.. Most items shipping out of the U.S. must ship via Airmail or Global Priority, rather than by surface mail. I do make exceptions for some sturdy/ heavy items (books, large magazine lots, etc).

I accept money orders, checks, and Paypal.. Paypal users: Due to the rapidly worsening rate of chargeback fraud and identity theft throughout the world, ALL Paypal payments must be made to a confirmed address, unless there is a demonstrable track record of active Paypal use of at least 3 months, or prior approval has been obtained from me . I have always resisted having a bunch of rules ....but this is a necessary step. Please take a moment to visit the Paypal discussion board sometime (accessible through the "Community" link at the top of this page) if you have never done so, which should provide ample demonstration for the reasons that I now believe this rule to be necessary for our mutual protection.

If you are the winning bidder , you can go ahead and pay per the payment instructions you will receive from Ebay provided you are a U.S. resident and shipping will be in the U.S. If you will require shipping out of the U.S., please send me an email at the conclusion of the auction with your address, so that the correct shipping charge can be determined.

Finally, please note that I am always happy to combine multiple bid wins to help reduce shipping costs. So please check my other auctions for similar items!

Thank You!!
