FAILURE (BAND) FANTASTIC PLANET 'LIVE', Translucent/ RED & BLUE VINYL SIGNED, 2017
Produced by FAILURE, Mixed by Ken Andrews, Copyright Failure Records, 2017
New, not sealed, as the artists had to sign it. It just dawned on me that the three of them signed on top of their individual pictures on the album cover. Somehow, I never noticed that before. Shame on me.
I believe this was recorded in Philadelphia, at the Electric Factory,... A show I attended, as a birthday present. Pretty sick. I wish I had the tickets to show you; however, EVERYTHING IS DIGITAL NOW! That Sucks! I just realized I do not have actual ticket stubs for this concert. SMH. You will hear me "hooting & hollering" as the songs start, and wind down. I love it.
I believe I purchased this album, directly from Failure, through "Pledge Music", before "PM" folded, screwing many artists. I honestly do not know any other way I would have acquired this album, and its twin. I spent a lot of money through "Pledge Music", for Failure. Failure's resurgence was something that I held, dearly, in my heart. I couldn't, and still can't, get enough of them. An underrated band, that deserved so much more. All that being stated, they are flourishing, doing shows everywhere, .... up until Covid.
I've been to many concerts. Paid for VIP, meet & greets. Even flew to Seattle, from Philly, to see them in an awesome, small venue, with my daughter,... who absolutely, loves them, also. I even paid for her VIP, meet & Greet, when they were touring "Heart Is A Monster". Can't get enough, and I'd do anything for them.
I know what you may be thinking,.... why would I sell this, if It means so much to me? Trouble is, I did put a lot of money into all of the "Pledge Music" offerings. I did everything I could to assist them, personally, to "re-surge". I've actually got two, if not more, of everything you'll be seeing listed. I didn't do it for money. I merely did it to assist them. I hope it helped. Shout out to Ken, Greg & Kelli!
The album is protected by a plastic, resealable sleeve; however, the sleeve is tight, and pinching the ends of the album. On the back of the album, you can see how the vinyl is pushing through the actual record sleeve, due to the tightness. That is why it is listed as "Excellent", and not MINT. I actually thought about taking it out of the plastic sleeve, but hesitated, as it needs to be protected, and I'm not a vinyl collector, I'm a Failure fan.
Look for my other FAILURE, vinyls, and other memorabilia, as time goes by. I've got to start reducing my collection of "doubles", and extras.
"I'm never gonna stretch my shape, to be with you"- "Saturday Savior" What a line...............
