Welcome to Across the Tracks Record Store
This auction listing is for a very rare 7 inch vinyl single from Ramsey Lewis
It is A Promotional Copy and has the date stamped on the B side as 13 June 1967
Title: Function At The Junction, which is a well known Motown Classic and would often be played on the Soul club scene
B Side: Hey Mrs Jones
These are instrumental tracks, not vocal
The Catalogue number is CRS 8058
The label is Chess
Year 1967
This record plays extremely well.
There are some visible marks on both sides but they do not cause any problems during play.
I have graded this single as VG + and it is actually probably better than this. It sounds great and plays through well
The sleeve is a Chess Company single sleeve.
This is a clean sleeve with no names numbers or writing on it.
This is a really great vinyl single and as it is also a Promo from the 60s, it is much harder to find now.
Grading:
I use the Rare Record Guide matrix as a guideline but also prefer to listen to the vinyl where possible and visually grade the condition.
