On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Jimi Hendrix Experience called 'Axis:Bold As Love' and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st MONO Pressing!!!! THIS IS A LEGENDARY LP AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS!!!! THIS COPY IS INCREDIBLY SPECIAL AND IN INCREDIBLE ORIGINAL CONDITION!!!! IT HAS THE ORIGINAL ALL IMPORTANT INSERT IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!! NOT ONLY THIS BUT THIS IS A GENIUNE 'PROPER' 1ST PRESSING WITH A 'TEXTURED' LABEL AND THE MEGA RARE INSERT!!!! I WILL EXPLAIN ALSO WHY A 'TEXTURED' LABEL IS SO RARE AND MAKES THIS RECORD EXTRA SPECIAL:

When the VERY earliest Track pressings of this LP came out only a VERY small amount was pressed WITH the all important insert. But what is REALLY important - is to check that you have the CORRECT RECORD for the early insert pressings. Not too many people actually know that ALL the VERY earliest pressed records WITH the insert were pressed with a TEXTURED LABEL on slightly thicker vinyl (See pictures). ALL the VERY first pressings WITH original insert ALWAYS had a record slightly thicker than a normal 1st Press and a TEXTURED label (see pictures). DO NOT let anyone tell you otherwise - a thinner NON textured label standard 1st Press record with insert is NOT original and would mean a record swop. But NOT in this case!!!! THIS IS THE GENIUNE 1ST PRESS COVER, THE GENIUNE 1ST PRESS MEGA RARE ORIGINAL INSERT, AND THE GENIUNE 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL THICK 'TEXTURED' LABEL RECORD WITH A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!! YOU CANNOT GET ANY EARLIER OR RARER!!!! AND THE CONDITION IS STUNNING!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!!

This is the MUCH RARER original Track UK MONO pressing from 1968 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 612 003 on the Track TEXTURED label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Jimi Hendrix Experience at their best!!!! Any fan of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!! The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! TAKE A LOOK AT THE CENTRE HOLE!!!! AWESOME!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a couple of the very VERY lightest paper scuff lines only visible under VERY bright light!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!! The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! TRULY AWESOME!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner!!!! THE ALL IMPORTANT INSERT (see picture) IS IN STUNNING CONDITION - NO RIPS, NO TEARS, NO FOLDS, AND NO WRITING!!!! THIS IS THE GENIUNE INSERT WITH A THICK GLOSSY LOOK. The AWESOMELY DESIGNED E.J.Day Gatefold Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES - can you get much better???? It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover retains ALL its original Flatness), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are RAZOR straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO wear, NO Grubbyness, NO yellowing and the inside Flipbacks are PERFECT!!!! The cover must grade Excellent+!!!! THIS IS A STUNNING COPY OF THIS MEGA RARE RECORD!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!!

IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW HOW TO SPOT A PROPER 1ST PRESSING - AS OFTEN INSERTS GET TAKEN FROM TRASHED EARLY PRESSINGS AND PUT INTO LATER PRESSINGS TO LOOK ORIGINAL. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT 'PROPER' INSERT 1ST PRESSINGS HAVE CRUCIAL DIFFERENCES TO THE RECORD LABEL - AS WELL AS HAVING THE INSERT.

IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THE INITIAL PRESSING OF THE RECORDS WITH INSERTS WERE CLEARLY A DIFFERENT PRESSING TO THE STANDARD TRACK 1ST PRESSES. ALL INSERT PRESSINGS SHOULD HAVE THICKER VINYL, A VERY HEAVILY TEXTURED LABEL AND AN FLAT 'RIM' JUST ON THE EDGE OF THE LABELS (LIKE EARLY 1SLAND TEXTURED LABELS). I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT A STANDARD LIGHTLY TEXTURED TRACK 1ST PRESSING - ALL STANDARD TRACK PRESSINGS WITHOUT INSERTS WERE VERY LIGHTLY TEXTURED (THIS IS NORMAL) - BUT STANDARD PRESSINGS ARE COMPLETELY FLAT TO THEIR SLOPING EDGES - AND HAVE NO FLAT RIM AND NO HEAVILY TEXTURED LABELS. THE ORIGINAL PRESSED RECORD RELEASED WITH AN INSERT MUST ALWAYS HAVE A HEAVILY TEXTURED LABEL - WITH A FLAT 'RIM' AROUND THE EDGE - EXACTLY LIKE THE EARLIEST ISLAND PRESSINGS. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING WITH AN INSERT KNOWS THIS - IF THE LABEL ON A RECORD DOES NOT HAVE THESE ALL IMPORTANT FEATURES THEN IT IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT THE RECORD IS NOT A TRUE 1ST PRESS AND IT HAS AT SOME POINT BEEN SWOPPED FOR A STANDARD PRESSING.
