Description

Up for auction is a RARE 7” (45 rpm) copy of the 1st single by Canadian rock power trio RUSH. Released in 1973 on Moon Records (MN 001), it features the tracks Not Fade Way (Side 1 – 3:18) and You Can’t Fight It (Side 2 – 2:52). This was the band’s first record release and featured original drummer John Rutsey. It pre-dates their first LP which was released one year later in 1974, originally on Moon Records and then later on Mercury Records. Neither track on this single appeared on the LP. The single is in Good Playing Condition. There are a couple of light marks on the vinyl but they are not excessive by any means. The surface noise is minor and does not detract from the record’s listenability--I think it sounds very good as is. It comes in a standard white paper sleeve. It is a difficult record to find and I’m sure will make a great addition to anyone’s RUSH record collection.
