Description
Greetings and salutations. You are bidding on a used copy of the first pressing of Rush's final studio album, "Clockwork Angels."
This item was purchased by me at the Exclusive Company record store in Appleton on release day. The cover was placed in a protective sleeve after purchase and stored vertically in a non-smoking home with no pets and low humidity. I also put the records in plastic sleeves and placed them behind the cover.
The record has been played a few times since then. However, the vinyl has two issues with it, both of whom were present upon release. On Side B, there is a 1.5" surface scratch and on all sides, there are light surface scuffs indicative of paper sleeves. The scuffs do not affect playback. There is a slight "tick" in the quiet portion where the scratch is but it is barely noticeable. I will grade the vinyl as VG+ overall as it sounds great.
The cover is in nearly Near Mint condition but has a few portions of edge and corner wear and also light ring wear. I will grade that also as VG+.
The paper record sleeves have slight ring and edge wear but not much. I will grade those also as VG+.
