'RICH MAN, POOR MAN' b/w 'LET ME DOWN'

on Original WARNER BROTHERS RECORDS PROMO/DEMO 45RPM WB 8011 from 1970
WITH ORIGINAL WB LETTER!!

This cool record has been discovered by psych collectors, and fans of early prog, but at time of recording I'm not sure if this even made it past DEMO stage even! They were recommended to Clifford Davis by none other than guitar legend Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac fame, and I've personally only ever seen one other copy on eBay, and that was just this year.
In fact, this copy comes with another nice piece of memorabilia providence; the letter from Warner Brothers' Oxford Street office to the recipient of this single.
I wonder if the reception was so disinterested at the time, that WB/Reprise were discouraged to give it full release? No idea why, but - it's deserving of much more attention, and ....better late than never!
The flip is a proper Progressive Rock gem, which makes this 7" a very worthwhile piece!


The VINYL is visually MINT with no marks whatsoever, FULL shine, SPOTLESS!
LABLES are clean NEAR MINT, no stickers, or stains, only ONE spindle-line visible to suggest it has ever been even played!
A top copy, and very worthwhile music, by a band that could have, should have!
