Here we have a Rock & Roll classic,the 1963 E.P. by Roy Orbison,'Hillbilly Rock'.It was released on the highly collectable London American record label and the catalogue no.is RES 1189.This E.P. was originally issued in 1957 but this is the later 1963 re-pressing with a yellow cover and the silver top,round centre,vinyl.
There are 4 tracks and these are :-
Side 1 - You're My Baby Rockhouse
Side 2 - Ooby Dooby Go! Go! Go!
The record is in excellent condition and both sides play well.There is no distortion,no jumps or skips and the overall sound is clear and sharp.
The record comes with its original outer cover which is in VG+ condition.It is slightly grubby along the edges but there are no significant marks or blemishes,no rips or tears and no hand writing on the cover.
IN MINT CONDITION THIS ITEM IS VALUED BY RECORD COLLECTOR AT £80 - IN VIEW OF ITS EX/VG+ CONDITION WE HAVE A LOWER STARTING POINT AND NO RESERVE - THIS IS PERHAPS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ROY ORBISON FANS TO FILL AN IMPORTANT HOLE IN THEIR COLLECTION !
