Description
Here is an extremely rare original Capitol reference acetate for a scrapped first US pressing of Stormcock. The disc was cut on January 6, 1972, several months after the UK release on Harvest; however—most likely due to changes in management at Capitol—the disc was never released by Harvest's US affiliate under EMI, and instead ended up coming out in 1978 on Chrysalis. The disc is in VG+ condition with some light surface marks. It plays nicely from start to finish with a bit of crackle, particularly at the start of each side.
