ROY HARPER: Stormcock (Awareness, AWL 2001, 1987, LP)
Not much needs to be said other than this is one of the essential Harper albums!
I've got the original, so why do I need to keep all the reissues? Lots more Harper to come as and when I find it.
Bought new at My Price, Edgeware Road (or Oxford Street?) in 1988 and played once and that just now (yes, one for the collection and I've always played the original). The sleeve is VG and the record plays at better than EX as you would expect. There are a few random (non-repeating) pops on side 1 that are down to static and paper detritus from the inner sleeve. Give it a wash clean and you'll have a near minter.
* * * * Records generally have hairline or other surface marks from removal from/insertion into sleeves - these are not mentioned unless causing audible noise. Records are play tested unless stated and any defects over and above what should be expected of the generic Record Collector grading are described in the listing. Please look at the photos carefully for condition of sleeves, etc.

* * * * All items are from my own various collections and most have been in storage for 20+ years. Lockdowns (and various heart ops.) made me wonder why I have thousands of records that I will never choose to listen to again.
