This beautiful 2 LP box set, one of the great piano rarities – preserves legendary Chilean pianist's Rosita Renard's 19 January 1949 Carnegie Hall recital. this was the first occasion that this remarkable concert was issued on LP.

Released in 1956 It bears the notation "Second Edition". However, collector's should know that the First Edition, released in 1949, was on 78 rpm discs. Thus, this is the "first edition" on LP. It is also worth noting that the set was very handsomely produced, using the 'long box' sometimes employed by Columbia Masterworks,

Also included is a 10-page booklet that contains several appreciations of her artistry, written by various critics around the world: Arturo Romay (in Argentina), Adolfo Salazar (in Mexico), Wolfgang Stresemann (in New York City), Howard Taubman (NYC), and New York Times critic and author of The Great Pianists Harold C. Schonberg.
