Original RARE 1966 45 rpm single in factory sleeve on HBR RECORDS HBR-488 of "HOLD BACK THE SUNRISE" and "THE SHAKE" by RON GRAY. As the result of the popularity of this record in the worldwide Mod and Sixties underground music culture scene, including the discotechs and clubs, devoted to spinning vintage R&R, R&B and U.S. Garage classics, this already rare record has become more in demand and sought after. HOLDBACK THE SUNRISE is a trippy, killer mod club dancer and the flip side, THE SHAKE, is an uptempo mover with a cool guitar break. Record condition is VG+, plays great, see label scans & photos.
