Description

From 1958, out of California, comes Ron Goodwin with his LP Music In Orbit on Capitol T10188 MONO first rainbow.The first rainbow has the logo globe onhalfway down the left side  Extremely rare twelve track album of music having to with space and sci-fi themes. Such pieces as Mercury Gets The Message, The Rings Around Saturn, and my personal favorite Martians On Parade, plus nine other instrumental pieces complete this album.Great front cover art of a rocket ship blasting off from a futuristic planet with the Earth visible in the sky.Also interesting modernistic drawing on the rear cover by artist Burt Shonberg.His most famous painting being the painting "Out Here" which was used by Arthur Lee and Love. This is only the second time I've ever seen this and this is the finest condition I've had it in! Orchestrated music with sound effects, but very rare and a must for collectors of space and science fiction items.

Sticker upper left front cover wraps around to rear,name on rear cover upper right, star next to song title.

Cover is VG++ and record has plastic bag marks visible on  record, but plays MINT MINUS!!!
