RARE NEW ZEALAND- ROLLING STONES-7”-VINYL-EP-FIVE BY FIVE -45-MONO

PUTTING UP FOR SALE / AUCTION A SUPER, RARE COPY OF A 7" FIRST PRESSING, EP VINYL.  THE ROLLING STONES-‘FIVE BY FIVE’ -DFEM 8590.

7” EP PRESSED IN NEW ZEALAND.

 IT IS PRESSED ON OPEN DECCA, DECCA– DFEM 8590.  IT IS PRESSED ON A DARK BLUE LABEL.  IT IS A FIRST PRESSING AND THE 2ND NEW ZEALAND EP PRESSING.  IT HAS ITS OWN UNIQUE PS-COVER.  ON THE SLEEVE BACK THERE IS ALSO AN EXCLUSIVE WITH PICTURES AND INTRODUCTORY TEXT FOR EACH OF THE BAND MEMBERS.  ITS SCARCITY AND BEAUTY MAKE IT ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER 7” RELEASE FROM THIS COUNTRY.  IT WAS PRESSED IN 1964, AND TURNS AT 45 RPM.

 BEING SOLD, IS AN EXCELLENT+ SLEEVE, WHICH IS 50 YEARS OLD.  IT IS A GLOSSY HEAVY PAPER SLEEVE.  NO SEAM SPLITS, VERY, VERY LIGHT RINGWEAR AND NO TEARS.  IT, ALSO HAS SOME LIGHT RED STAIN ON THE BACK OF THE SLEEVE, AND A NZ STICKER ON THE BACK.  IT IS A SUPERB SLEEVE CONSIDERING ITS AGE OR ANY AGE!

 THIS FULL FREQUENCY NZ - EP  VINYL PLAYS NM. HOWERVER THERE ARE SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES, WHICH DO NOT AFFECT PLAY SIGNIFICENTLY, THUS THE GRADE IS EX+.  IT PLAYS VERY STRONG BEING PRESSED IN MONO.  CONSIDERING THE RARE NATURE OF THIS EP, IT IS A SUPERB ADDITION, FOR ALL VINYL COLLECTORS.

MINT (M)...Still sealed

NEAR MINT

...RECORD - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

...SLEEVE - The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT

OR ... RECORD - The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

OR ... SLEEVE - The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD

VERY GOOD ... RECORD The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches.

VERY GOOD ... SLEEVE Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G)

GOOD ... RECORD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, with some distortion or skips due to scratches.

GOOD ... SLEEVE The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc..
