UK FIRST PRESSING DOUBLE VINYL LP IN GATEFLD WITH INNERS.
Most albums are not, as such, 'rare'; after all, they often sold thousands and even millions of copies down the years (albeit in ever-worse pressings) - but what is rare are copies that have not been played to death inside tatty sleeves. This copy has near pristine vinyl, and will satisfy all but a perfectionist. The sound of this album is utterly amazing - forget all the 're-mastered from original tapes' (which they seldom are - that's just record company BS and marketing folks) overly compressed/no bottom end/false upper-mids CD re-issues, only these first or early vinyl pressings convey the true, powerful majesty of the original recorded sound.
Raisedonrecords suggest that if you want to hear music recorded between the mid-1950s and mid-1980s as it should be heard: sell the car, tv and even the kids (better yet, ‘invest’ their inheritance if you have to), and buy yourself a decent hi-fi, paying particular attention to the best turntable/stylus combination that you can afford, get a VPI record cleaning machine and Disc Doctor fluids so that you can maintain your valuable LPs in top condition, clean your stylus and disc before each and every play, use a quality carbon fiber brush across the disc before you place the stylus down, and then sit back for twenty minutes or so in your comfy chair (you have a comfy chair, right?) and be utterly beguiled by how good properly pressed vinyl LPs sound compared to any other format. Finally, you will be listening to the 'real' thing: all the dynamics and subtleties that the musicians, engineers and producers laid-down will reveal itself. If you have two working ears (one will do for mono), we assure you it is worth all the time and effort involved. And the best part of all is that the more you up-grade your hi-fi as finances permit, the better your LPs always sound…it’s like hearing them for the first time all over again.

Ridiculous as it may seem, due to UK mailing rules, it is never cheaper to send packages weighing more than 2kgs per package via Parcel Force in one large package than it is to send multiple just-under 2kg Royal Mail Air Mail Small Packets. We cannot ship surface mail because delivery times do not match eBay/Paypal’s required delivery dates.
