ROLLING STONES THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST

This is the rare UK 1st press of Their Satanic Majesties by The Rolling Stones. This genuine early press is complete with the 1P (handetched 1) / P1 matrix, the heavy grooved blue unboxed Decca label and the original holographic laminated Robert Stace gatefold sleeve. This rare press is a collection filler as both sleeve and vinyl have some wear.
The vinyl is in Good condition. Both sides have a superb gloss, but there are a few light marks and a little groove wear on Side 2. The original plain blue heavy grooved Decca labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is just light spindle wear.
The sound quality is Good. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is rich and warm. There is light background hiss throughout and although Side 2 plays through on our turntable but there is groove wear on track 4. All other tracks are enjoyable and the noise does not spoil the enjoyment of this album.
The sleeve is in Good condition. The image is sharp, the text is clear and the laminate has a superb mirrorlike shine. There is a little wear to the hologram and the spine has sellotape along the edge. The inside is very bright, there are however some pen marks. The back of the sleeve is extremely bright and clean.
