Super-rare TEST PRESSING of the Rolling Stones US release "Now!" - also known as "Rolling Stones No.3".
This album was never released in the UK. However, as you can see from the label, this Factory Sample was Made In England.
The machine-stamped matrix numbers are also hand written on the labels:
XARL-6691-1K (Side 1)
and XARL-6692-1K (Side 2)
As the finished artwork would not have been ready when this was originally pressed, it is housed in a custom in-house Stones album cover (dated 1966) featuring two pictures of Charlie, two of Keith and one of Mick (but no Bill or Ronnie!) on the front and a blank back cover where the record details have been handwritten (see photos).
This unique album cover is a collectors item by itself!
The original poly-lined inner sleeve has the matrix numbers handwritten in the top right-hand corner.
The vinyl is in super shiny EXCELLENT condition with no noticable surface marks.
An absolutely fabulous package for the Stones collector!
