Here it is! One of the most sought after Rolling Stones examples out there!!
This is the very scarce aborted export pressing manufactured in the U.K. by Decca for shipping to the U.S.A.
The album 12x5 was not issued in the U.K.
The record offered here was supposed to be an export issue but production was suddenly stopped the same day it began.
Most copies produced were destroyed! A scant few survived.
The album is a Mono issue on the London label, LL-3402.
This issue has the "organ intro" preceding "Time Is On My Side," indicative of a first pressing release.
The labels are the deep groove (ridged) variety.
"Made In England" is printed at the top of the labels.
The all important dead wax information is:
Side 1--ARL-6493-1A Side 2--ARL-6494-2A
Fully Play Graded: VG+ / VG++, with a couple instances of light pops. Not disturbing. The remainder of the record presents with excellent sound quality. There are some scratches and scuffs, but not to interfere with listening pleasure.
Labels: Side 1, VG+ with a smudge/wear spot. Side 2, VG++, with some wispy spindle marks.Cover: VG, laminated with "typewriter" print used in liner notes. "Congradulations," (sic) misspelled.
