Post-Brexit crisis so records must go. See my other auctions for more of the same.

What is it?
Rolling Stones - Aftermath (Decca, LK 4786)
How about this! Here is the absolute first pressing (??) of the Rolling Stones' Aftermath LP with the purple shadow around the text. They changed the sleeve almost immediately and only a few of these got out. This is only the second one I have seen in person and the good news for the Stones nut on a budget is that this one is pretty knackered and therefore affordable!

Condition
Sleeve: FAIR/POOR: This has had quite a life. It remains in one piec just about but there is a rip about two inches long to the back of the sleeve and the front is pretty grotty with some young ne'er do wells c.1966 having written their names on it in biro. Feathering to the opening edges, browning to the matt bit on the back, but it has survived. A good restorer might be able to love it up to GOOD condition. I am merely a mediocre one. It is a rare thing, though.

Record: FAIR/POOR: I was tempted to switch the record for a better one but that would be dishonest The matrixes on the one it came with are XARL-7209-6B/7210-3A. Whether this is the correct pressing is for someone else to decide. It looks pretty rough BUT, I do seem to remember it played all the way through for me. It is a bit rough. Don't expect anything other.

TRUST MY GRADINGS; I worked in a top London collector's shop for years, and my VG is most people's MINT on eBay.

I recycle packaging when possible; it's cheap and also the right thing to do, people.
