On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called 'Rolling Stones No 2' and is a MONO UK pressing!!!! THIS IS A MEGA RARE LP WITH A MEGA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' COVER (AND RECORD) AND IS QUITE SIMPLY THE BEST EXAMPLE OF THIS RARITY THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!  'TRANSITIONAL' LPS ARE INCREDIBLY RARE (AND QUITE IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS CONDITION) - AND FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT KNOW - I WILL EXPLAIN.  THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP PRESSED IN 1965 AND MOST OF 1966 HAD A 1ST PRESS COVER WITH A 'BLIND MAN' CREDIT IN THE TEXT ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER.  HOWEVER AT SOME POINT THE REFERENCE 'KNOCK A BLIND MAN ON HIS HEAD AND STEAL HIS LOOT' WAS OBVIOUSLY NOTICED AND DEEMED OFFENSIVE.  SO THE COVERS WERE CHANGED TO OMITT THIS OFFENSIVE REMARK.  HOWEVER THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY CHANGED QUITE LATE ON IN THE PRESSING RUN AS ALL 1965/66 ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSINGS DO HAVE THIS OFFENDING CREDIT.  AND CERTAINLY IT IS MUCH MUCH HARDER TO FIND A 1960s ORIGINAL PRESSING OF THIS LP WITHOUT THIS CREDIT - THAN WITH IT!!!!  HOWEVER BETWEEN THE 1ST PRESSED 'BLIND MAN' CREDIT COVERS AND THE LATER 'NO CREDIT' COVERS - COMES THIS EXTREMELY RARE LP WITH A 'TRANSITIONAL'  COVER!!!!  THIS LP HAS THE VERY RARE TRANSITIONAL COVER FROM APPROXIMATELY LATE 1966/EARLY 1967 WITH THE 'COVERED' TRANSITIONAL COVER WITH AN EXTRA BACK 'SLICK' - WHICH COVERED UP THE OFFENDING 'BLIND MAN' TEXT!!!!   IT IS ALSO VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ONE IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  OBVIOUSLY WHEN THE ORDER HAD BEEN GIVEN TO 'CHANGE' THE COVER - THERE WERE STILL SOME FIRST PRESS COVERS WITH THE OFFENDING 'BLIND MAN' CREDIT LEFT ON THEM - SO RATHER THAN WASTFULLY DESTROYING THEM - A 'SLICK' OF PAPER WITH THE NEW COVER BACK (OMITTING THE CREDIT) WAS STUCK OVER THE BACK OF THE 1ST PRESS COVERS!!!!  THERE WASNT MANY OF THESE TRANSITIONAL COVERS PRESSED AS TODAY FINDING A MEGA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' COVER IS VERY VERY HARD INDEED - AND FINDING ONE IN THIS CONDITION IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  IN MY VERY CLEAR CLOSE UP PICTURES BELOW - YOU CAN SEE THE ORIGINAL COVER TEXT THOUGH THE PASTE ON SLICK, AND IN MY OTHER CLOSE UP PICTURE - IT SHOWS THE EDGE OF THE 'PASTE ON' SLICK ITSELF AND THE AMENDED 'BLIND MAN' TEXT.  THIS 'PASTE OVER' SLICK OF COURSE 'OMITTS' THE BLIND MAN TEXT, (THOUGH OF COURSE THE ORIGINAL 'OFFENDING' TEXT IS STILL THERE UNDERNEATH THE 'AMENDED' PASTE ON SLICK).  THIS COVER ONLY LASTED A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AND TODAY IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION)!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1966/67 MEGA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' PRESSING WITH A MEGA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' SLEEVE, AMENDED 'BLIND MAN' CREDIT, PASTE OVER BACK SLICK, AND A 'RIDGED' UNBOXED DECCA LABEL!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN AWESOME CONDITION WITH A STUNNING 'TRANSITIONAL' COVER AND THE RECORD HAS BARELY EVER BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  IT IS SIMPLY MASSIVELY RARE TO FIND THIS MEGA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' LP IN THIS ASTOUNDING CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is an ORIGINAL Decca UK UNBOXED 1966/67 MONO pressing and is in AWESOME condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LK 4661 on the ORIGINAL UNBOXED 'ridged' Decca Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Rolling Stones at their best!!!! Any fan of The Rolling Stones, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and virtually ZERO spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and NO marks!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  I have to say that this is THE BEST playing Rolling Stones 2nd LP I have EVER heard!!!!  It plays with PIN SHARP music signals, ABSOLUTELY ZERO distortion, NO groovewear, CRYSTAL CLEAR sound NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! The record must grade MINT (Minus) if not better!!!!  AWESOME!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also has its ORIGINAL and CORRECT inner sleeve for the age (1966/67) of the MEGA RARE 'Transitional' LP!!!! The MEGA RARE 'Transitional' Cover is in STUNNING condition and it is EASILY the best I have EVER seen!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (spine has ZERO creases and is 100% straight), barely ANY corner wear AT ALL, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), STUNNING shiny UNGLAZED laminate, an area of laminate lifting along the spinal edge (NO laminate breakage), NO rips, NO tears, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The MEGA RARE 'Transitional' unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO staining, NO writing, and NO wear!!!!  This is EASILY the best 'Transitional' Cover I have EVER seen and this cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS IN SIMPLY AWESOME CONDITION AND IT IS SO HARD TO FIND A MEGA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' PRESSING OF THIS LP IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
