This must be one of the rarest UK albums.. I have been collecting since the mid sixties and this is the FIRST copy that I have EVER seen!..
It had no publicity at the time,sold less than a hundred copies and was deleted almost immediately..When EMI stopped using Regal Zonophone as a label (in the early seventies),the album was forgotten about and it just disappeared..
Musically,it's in a sort of country rock style,but the dominating influence is The Band..Downhome and rootsy..
Back up musicians include:De Lisle Harper (bass,),Bruce Rowland,Rod Coombes and Terry Stannard (drums),Tommy Eyre (keyboards,piano accordion),Keith West (guitar,vocals),John Weider (guitar,fiddle),Glen Campbell,ex Juicy Lucy (Pedal Steel Guitar),Johnny Almond and Chris Mercer (Saxes)..
The matrix numbers are 1U on each side and the mothers/stampers are:1G and 1R..This is a first pressing..There were NO second pressings..
Issued on Regal Zonophone in May 1972..SRZA 8590..UK pressing..
Play grade is EX+..This plays SUPERB..The sound quality is bright,clean and undistorted..There are NO clicks or pops...There is a little light static crackle on some of the track links,but this is almost certainly dust in the grooves and a clean on a professional machine should sort this out!.
Visual grade of the disc is easily EX++..In fact,it looks like it has never been played..It's still got that sheen of virgin vinyl..There are no scratches,scuffs or other marks...(There are one or two TINY bag scuff type hairlines but they are insignificant!)..
The sleeve (non laminated,textured and gatefold),grades as EX Minus (maybe slightly less)..There is a little age yellowing around the edges and to the spine..The front opening edge has a small tear and a slight crease below this (see last picture)..Otherwise,the sleeve is clean and undamaged..
There are no rips,tears,seamsplits,writing,sellotape or tape marks..All of the text on the spine is clearly legible,there is minimal discshape,edge rubbing or wear to the corners....
The labels are undamaged with bright,untarnished text,and there is NO minimal spindle wear to the areas around the centre holes...I may have been the first person to have played this..I have done 2 sets of label pictures and they should give a clear idea of just how clean they are!.

There are delays on post going INTO the USA due to an increased scanning of packages at US Customs (Anti terrorist measures,I believe)..Parcels ARE being delayed and delivery may take a MONTH!!..
The Russian Federation is also having delays on deliveries ..This is due to the sheer volume of parcels going into the Federation..Again,expect delays!.

Shipping
All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!
