ROCKS / YOU'R SO BORING / Sleeve: EX / Disc: EX / VINYL 6-TRACK 7" / POINT BLANK / 1978 / PBR 101
Very rare Point Blank pressing of one of Australia's original punk 7"s. Only 500 made in 1978, and probably a lot less left now since I'm sure a few were either lost or badly damaged in those frantic early days of Aussie punk. I was given this copy in the mid-80's by original guitarist and later bass player Peter who was a good friend. If there's one thing any young band should learn from this record, it's to get yourself a manager who can spell.
The sleeve is in fab condition with beautiful spine and seams. There is very light age spotting here and there and a very light wrinkle near the top left corner. The vinyl looks brilliant with just a small hairline mark on one side. Nice shiny wax even though it has never been cleaned. I have played this before listing and it sounds fucktastic (hey I just made up a new word!). It really sounds terrific.
Still has the original cut-die inner sleeve as well.
Postage for this one includes signature on delivery. It also won't be sent to a P.O Box address. For overseas buyers, due to the value of this item, the sale price will be declared on the customs form. Please be aware that you may need to pay your country's taxes on the sale price.

All records listed are part of my private collection, with the majority having been bought new in the early to mid 80s in Sydney at legendary shops like White Light, Phantom, Waterfront, and Red Eye. Some were bought via mail from a record club. I've always been extremely fussy in taking care of them and as a result many are in amazing Near Mint condition. A lot of them look Mint but I don't usually class them as such. LPs were always stored in sealable plastic sleeves and stood upright. Singles were also kept in 7" plastic sleeves and upright. This is why a lot of the covers look close to new and the vinyl is so dust-free. More importantly, I hardly ever played them as I had the tendency to put them on cassette and play the tape instead (old school talk). This means that a lot of them don't look played. When played they were done so on a nice Thorens turntable and the stylus was regularly changed. There were some that were bought second-hand but I always tried to choose nice copies.
Each record is listened to prior to listing so you can bid on it with confidence.
A MINT record looks like new with no marks on it. A NEAR MINT record is a record that is virtually in As New condition with maybe one or two almost invisible marks and often no marks at all. An EX record is in great condition with a few hairline marks that don't affect the sound. All records will be expertly packed using a cardboard box with packing foam and or bubble wrap. The vinyl is removed from the covers and printed inners to avoid seam splits. This offers excellent protection to the records you've just spent money on. I can do a combined invoice if you buy more than 1 item. Just request an invoice before paying.
