Description
UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP IN EMBOSSED GATEFOLD WITH STAPLED BOOKLET. WE HAVE NEVER SEEN A BETTER CONDITION COPY OF THIS PSYCH-HIPPY-PROG ROCK CONCEPT ALBUM BY ONE OF HAWKWIND'S ORIGINAL MEMBERS. USUALLY THEY ARE SOMEWHAT BATTERED WITH TATTY SLEEVES - THE REISSUE VINYL AND THE OVERLY COMPRESSED CD REMASTER BOTH SOUND UTTERLY, WELL, LET'S BE HONEST, CR*P. THIS IS THE FIRST PRESSING AND SOUNDS AS GOOD TODAY AS IT DID IN 1974 - THE BETTER YOUR HI FI, THE BETETR THIS COPY WILL SOUND.
STAMPERS: UAG 29507 A - 1U [RTB-KIP] / B - 1U [RTB-KIP]
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT MINUS. A REALLY CLEAN SLEEVE WITH THE LIGHTEST OF SHELF, CORNER AND EDGE WEAR. A HINT OF REAR RING WEAR BUT NOT THAT NOTICEABLE. NO NOTICEABLE SPINE WEAR, THE SILVER EMBOSSED LETTERING IS BRIGHT AND SHINY. TWO VERY SMALL TOP LEFT SIDE CREASE LINES. THE INSIDE BOOKLET HAS COME AWAY FROM STAPLE AT TOP, BOTTOM ONE IS GOOD, BOOKLET IS EXCELLENT. THE CARD INNER SLEEVE IS VERY CLEAN BUT HAS TWO SIDE EDGE SEAM SPLITS ABOUT ONE INCH EACH. THE RECORD HAS BEEN STORED IN A POLY SLEEVE FOR SOME TIME SO THIS HAS SAVED THE CARD INNER FROM FURTHER DEGRADING.
DISC: NEAR MINT - A TRULY FINE COPY THAT HAS BEEN PLAYED VERY LITTLE, POSSIBLE ONLY ONCE OF TWICE. VERY CLEAN LABELS, NO SPINDLE WEAR, NO MARKS OR SCRATCHES. THERE ARE JUST A FEW BARELY NOTICEABLE HAIRLINES IF HELD TO A BRIGHT LIGHT, PROBABLY CAUSED BY THE CARD INNER SLEEVE - YOU WILL BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND A CLEANER COPY OF THIS TITLE THESE DAYS.
THIS ITEM SHIPS FROM THE UK:
Paypal’s buyer and seller protection policy requires that sellers ship all packages with proof of delivery. This protects both the buyer and the seller from loss or non-receipt. Therefore, we can only ship outside the UK via Royal Mail Small Packet Air Mail with Tracked and Signed-For Delivery, which takes, on average, about 10 days to arrive. We will enter the tracking number on your Paypal payment shortly after it has shipped, from which you can track the package by clicking to the Royal Mail website. We regret having to use this method of shipping because it costs nearly a third more than regular air mail, but this does assure you and us of delivery and is required by Paypal. Some sellers choose to ship cheaper without tracking, but do so at their own risk. We choose not to risk being out of pocket every time we mail a package, so please bid elsewhere if you do not want the service we offer or intend to argue about the shipping rates quoted after the auction has closed. We wish you to receive your records in the same condition they leave us – this requires proper packing materials and protection whilst in transit. Our Shipping and Handling rates reflect only the true cost of actual postage with international tracking, quality mailers and any other packaging materials required.
And if you open your package carefully the mailers are re-usable, which is good value for you and great for our .
