This Auction is for a VERY RARE original Vinyl LP from 1978
RICO
Warrika Dub
GHETTO ROCKERS PRE-LP1.
This is the Dub version of the classic Rico Album, Man from Wareika.
All tracks are Dub versions from the original recording, which along with Rico featured Sly & Robbie, Dick Cuthell and many more.
Tracks are :- Side 1. This Day, Ramble, Lumumba, Africa.
Side 2. Man From Wareika, Rasta, Over The Mountain, Gunga Din, Dial Africa.
The record is in very good + condition with just a few light surface marks visible. None are detrimental to the sound quality. It plays and sounds really well. It has the white labels on both sides.
Matrix numbers are PRE-LP1 A2 & B1
Released in a boring, plain white cover, there is not much to say about it, as there are no pictures, lyrics, musician's list, etc. This is how it came though and is totally original.
The cover itself is showing a bit of general wear around the edges and is quite grubby.
This album is very difficult to find and hardly ever comes up for sale.
A very rare reggae collectors album in very nice, original condition.
Item will be packed in Protective Packaging and Post charges are as follows:- UK £3.00 and sent 1st class. Europe £4.00 and sent Airmail. International £6.00 and sent Airmail. Although I always retain proof of postage, I cannot be held responsible for items going astray in the post. I therefore recommend with a rare item like this that you opt for recorded/signed for delivery with extra insurance. The charges are UK .72p for the Signed for and an extra £1.00 for insurance up to £100. Europe & International £3.50 for the Signed for and an extra £2.20 for the insurance.
