TITLE/ARTIST: This extremely rare and highly collectible four (4) song, early Ricky Nelson EP (his very first, in fact) is on the original Verve Label,and is self-entitled "Ricky", from 1957. The EP features a great looking front cover pic of Ricky, and four great songs including his hit, "I'm Walkin"----check it all out below. Then, please continue to read on and check out all the descriptions and pictures. LABEL INFO:It is on the original, Verve Label---5048---and it is very, very nice overall condition. There is a very small, and easily removable name tag on one side only. Otherwise, this copy is an original very 1st pressing, and I see no spindle lines around the center hole which indicates to me that the EP wasn't played very much at all; VINYL INFO: The vinyl is very shiny, clean and nice with no serious flaws to report on at all---except for a couple extremely light surface/paper lines, I really see nothing negative to report at all. These light lines have absolutely no effect on the EP's play at all; JACKET INFO: The primary and important parts of this jacket are also very, very nice with no serious flaws, but it isn't perfect either. There is some expected signs of very light "aging", a thumb tack hole in the top center, some scuffing along the seam areas and some light, and practically invisible, "crease lines" in places throughout both sides. Otherwise, it looks just fine to me, but please see the pics below and judge for yourself; INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see this rare and early, original Ricky Nelson EP out there much anymore.
