Description
Renaissance debut self-titled 1969 LP original UK Island ILPS 9114 stereo with gatefold jacket.
I purchased this record in 1969 and it is from my personal collection. It is not a reissue.
The jacket is in "VG+" condition with mild ringwear on the back cover; corners have creases and there is a small 1/2" rip on the spine (see photos).
The vinyl is in "NM" condition; the matrix numbers are A1/B1; there is a rare matrix number error on side two where the incorrect number "9111" is scratched out and replaced with "9114"; "RL" and "SS" for Robert Ludwig and Sterling Sound are etched in the deadwax; the record has been stored in the original poly lined paper sleeve since purchase.
Vinyl grading is based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
