Description

  R.E.M - Murmur - Rare Radio Only Test Pressing - Letter " Murmur is the debut album by the American alternative rock band R.E.M., released in 1983 on I.R.S. Records. Murmur drew critical acclaim upon its release for its sound, defined by singer Michael Stipe's cryptic lyrics, guitarist Peter Buck's jangly guitar style, and bassist's Mike Mills' melodic basslines."
R.E.M Murmur test pressing in unplayed condition. Record cover is a hand typed xeroxed sheet of paper taped on. It lists the track titles and names. Inside is another hand typed xeroxed letter from Keith Altomare of I.R.S dated 3/17/83.  These were sent to various radio stations that supported R.E.M in their early days.
