Description
You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage jazz, LP record album from 1957 entitled, "Relaxin' With The Miles Davis Quintet", on the Prestige record. #7129. This is the yellow and black label issue with the "203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield NJ" address. The labels are in excellent condition with bright and vibrant color. The vinyl is in very good plus, but closer to excellent, condition. I could find only a couple of light scratches and a couple of very minor, small scuffs.that do not affect play and do little to distract. The original vinyl gloss is very nice. The jacket is in good condition with light, general surface, corner, and edge wear. There is a one inch split at the bottom right and a two inch middle split on the same edge. There is a 2 1/2 inch middle top edge split and just the smallest start of the same at the left top edge corner. The front cover has some light soiling with a heavier area toward the left edge (see close-up photo). The back side cover has some light soiling, a little more around the edges. There is an area of darker soiling by the bottom edge and a black circle spot toward the upper right corner (see photo). This has been a critical description for the serious record collector. This is a nice LP until you could upgrade to near mint or mint, especially the great labels and vinyl. This is a 3 day, no reserve sale.
