REIGN GHOST - "self titled" LP on the Allied label, No. 12, from 1969. Ultra rare original Canadian pressing of a great psych rock album. 4 out of 6 on Hans Pokora's rare record scale in his books. Led by Bob Bryden who would later launch the excellent Canadian psych band "Christmas". The cover is in VG condition, with a sticker tear on the front along with a red felt pen "18" and some red felt pen on part of the sticker tear mark (see scan). The top seam is solid, as is the spine ... the bottom seam has a 1" beginning split at the opening. The back of the jacket is clean with minor wear from age. The vinyl has noticeable scuffs and light scratches but I have VPI cleaned it and played it several times and it plays great. I've graded it VG but the album plays VG+ or better. The first song on both sides plays with some background noise off the start that fades and the remainder of both sides plays clean with very minor noise in places. There are no skips or repetitive ticks. A very enjoyable listening lp with nice fidelity even though the record doesn't look scratch free. It plays very well. These albums are rare!! with mint copies going for 800 - 1,000 dollars. There will be a reasonable reserve on this one. If you have further questions please ask! Winner pays for shipping. Thanks.
