Description
A RARE GREAT SOUNDING COPY OF A SINGLE GETTING EVER HARDER TO FIND. RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE ON EBAY.
FROM THE HEIGHT OF THE 1970s UK REGGAE MOVEMENT AND FEATURING A SUPERB B SIDE DUB. (PLEASE ALSO CHECK OUT MY OTHER REALLY RARE REGGAE SINGLES).
FABULOUS REGGAE ORIGINAL from my own collection. Super REGGAE SINGLE from UPSETTERS 'CANE RIVER ROCK' / 'RIVER SIDE ROCK' was released on the UK DIP label in 1975.
THE TRACK 'CANE RIVER ROCK' IS AN UPSETTERS CUT OF THE CLASSIC 'TIGHTEN UP'
AS IF THIS SINGLE WASNT HARD ENOUGH TO FIND THIS IS THE RARE 1ST UK PRESS WITH INTACT 4 PRONG CENTRE.
THIS IS A REALLY NICE PLAYING COPY.
It has survived with some surface scuffing (not greatly affecting sound).
The LABELS do have some ink to both sides but are generally clear and bright (see pics for exact condition).
THE SINGLE STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL RARE FOUR PRONG CENTRE INTACT.
The SINGLE PLAYGRADES inbetween excellent minus (ex-) which is the grading for 97% of SIDE 'A' and VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (VG++) condition (for some minor intro static and the 'B' side which grades around VG+/+) and RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE.
IT IS SUPPLIED IN A DIP COMPANY SLEEVE (WHICH I BELIEVE IS A REPRO AS I ACQUIRED SOME MANY YEARS AGO) and a POLY SLEEVE for extra protection.
This record rarely comes up for sale on Ebay in anything other than battered condition.

The SINGLE ('A' SIDE) PLAYGRADES IN EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) condition. 'B' SIDE is more like VG+
It is supplied in a plain white sleeve and a poly sleeve for extra protection.

Rare Record Collector Grading: EX- (EXCELLENT MINUS)
EXCELLENT MINUS: Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. May have the occasional hint of static or crackle but not affecting the music quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
