LABEL : TUFF GONG, limited red vinyl, Jamaica, 1979.

CONDITION (Record/Cover) : M- / VG+

COMMENT : Much sought after LP "Survival" by Bob Marley and the Wailers. This is a VERY LIMITED 1979 Jamaican pressing issued on RED VINYL, by Tuff Gong Records. This is an original pressing with "Tuff Gong International, 56 Hope Rd, Kgn 6, Jamaica. All rights reserved." labels. Other Bob Marley colored vinyl releases, such as the tri-colored "Legend" are much more common. "Survival" in red vinyl is one of the most wanted Marley releases and very rarely becomes available for bid on eBay

The record is in pristine condition, M- Ultra clean labels.

The cover is graded VG+ because of signs of little use and 3 small stickers, one small one on the front “Beverleys” (see picture), and two others small stickers in the back with name of the owner and “1 Wake up”. Nothing serious, the cover is still in great shape, I just mention it because of the value of this record.

GRADING CODES :

M = Record in new condition, never played or looking like it. Sleeve as new.

EX = Record in superb condition, very rarely played, may present slight visible marks but no audible ones. Sleeve may present slight signs of natural aging.

VG+ = Record is really nice, may present a few visible marks which are slightly audible. Surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing. Sleeve may present a few flaws like light openings, ring wear...

VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks, many surface noises are noticeable. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...

VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
