Up for bids is a great, rare, mono Jazz LP by Red Garland called "Soul Junction". Prestige Records. PRLP 7181. 1960.Also features John Coltrane and Donald Byrd!
COVER STILL IN ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP!!!
BLUE TRIDENT LABELS WITH "203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J." ADDRESS ON BOTH. Probably pressed between 1964 and 1967.
Both sides' Trail-Off's have the stamped "RVG".
BACK OF COVER HAS "203 SO. WASHINGTON AVE., BERGENFIELD, N.J." ADDRESS, BOTTOM-RIGHT.
Comes with plain white inner sleeve in VG++ condition (record will be shipped in separate polylined sleeve and outside cover).
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG++ condition. Still in its original shrink! Back of cover has some browning by the edges. Spine print is off-center and towards front. No splits! Strong and sturdy, this is still a prime example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as VG to VG+. Looks gorgeous with some minor marks. Vinyl has some surface noise during in between songs and during quiet areas. Beginning of Side 1 has a small curve and air warp and a ticking scratch that both do not last too long. Side 2 is not affected by the warp. When Red and the guys start to cook, this record still sounds really nice on my player. GOD BLESS RUDY VAN GELDER!
