Description
Mega Rare LP of John Coltrane - The First Trane (Prestige 7609 - stereo) Vintage 1960s purple label with Bergenfield NJ address and RVG on both sides - NOT a current re-issue. Legendary 1st LP for Coltrane features Sahib Shihab, Mal Waldron, Red Garland, Paul Chambers , Al Heath and others in an acknowledged masterpiece that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ with some light marks that will make a bit of noise and with much if not most of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but certainly not trashed either - still, you will hear some noise. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Not perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at any price?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).

US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, payment fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
