The pinnacle of stereo recording. A beautiful copy - rare instance where the front pastedown is not present (there is no residue to indicate that it was there). Acquired from the estate of an audio engineer - perhaps a pre-release copy.
We have play-graded all four surfaces all the way through. There is occasional low-level surface noise. A few audible rubs and ticks here and there. We hear no other material issues. No skipping, no heavy scratches.
The box has a small light spot on the front toward lower right corner. Included booklet near fine, with small crease at lower corner of front cover. Insert with track list fine. Original Soria sleeves also near fine, with age-toning.
Ships in new corrugated box, carefully padded to protect contents.
Live Wax Grading Process and Standards

All open records are cleaned using a Nitty Gritty Minipro 1 and then visually AND play-graded (visual grading alone will not adequately determine sound quality or reveal all potential defects - we reject many records that "look great"). Where appropriate/needed, records are then placed in Diskeeper audiophile sleeves and jacketed in poly sleeves for storage.
We are conservative in our grading: if borderline, we err on the side of caution and apply the lower grade. We intend for our customers to be delighted more often than not, and never less than satisfied.
Grades
------
Still Sealed (SS): In original shrink wrap, and with no visible defects.
Near Mint (NM): No visible or audible defects, appears unplayed.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows slight signs of wear. Light scuffs or scratches may be present, rarely/barely audible.
No seam splits to jacket.
Very Good (VG): Obvious wear and handling, including visible groove wear, surface noise, audible scratches,
ring wear and small seam splits.
We generally do not offer any material in less than VG condition.
