Description
Featured in this auction is the number 6 record in the 1956 RCA Victor EZ Pop Programming series, G70L-0197. Songs and artists on this record: Elvis Presley, I Was The One...The Singing Dogs, Hot Dog Rock and Roll... Dorothy Olsen, Little White Duck...Perry Como, Juke Box Baby...Chet Atkins, The Poor People of Paris (Jean's Song)....Billy Eckstine, Grapevine....Julius LaRosa, Lipstick and Candy and Rubbersole Shoes...Teddi King, Mr Wonderful...Bill Eckstine, The Bitter With The Sweet...Ames Brothers, Forever Darling... Jaye P Morgan, Sweet Lips... Eddy Arnold, Do You Know Where God Lives?. In very good played condition, has been stored in a sleeve and has not been cleaned. We do not have a turntable. If we find one with a new needle we will play them. The imperfections do not appear to be anything serious. These records were not sold to the public and are not easy to find! Around this time RCA didn't know how to classify Elvis Presley's music so in this collection they put him in the Pop collection. We also currently have number 1, 2, and 3 records from RCA's Promo Country collection with Elvis singing I Was The One, Heartbreak Hotel, and Mystery Train, not to mention some other great artists! Will combine auction wins to save on shipping.
