Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 4 records (78s) on the RCA Victor label. It is Set P-147 entitled "Smoke Rings" by a great variety of jazz/dance orchestras and vocalists. Records include:
1. #20-1557, Side 1--Benny Goodman and his Orch.-"These Foolish Things Remind Me Of You"-vocal by Helen Ward.
#20-1557, Side 2--Tommy Dorsey and his Orch.-"Once In A While"-vocal by Male Trio.
2. #20-1558, Side 3--Larry Clinton and his Orch.-"My Reverie"-vocal by Bea Wain.
#20-1558, Side 4--Swing and Sway with Sammy Kaye-"Moon Love"-vocal by Clyde Burke.
3. #20-1559, Side 5--Artie Shaw and his Orch.--"All The Things You Are"-vocal by Helen Forrest.
#20-1559, Side 6--Freddie Martin and his Orch.--"Intermezzo"-vocal by Clyde Rogers.
4. #20-1560, Side 7--Duke Ellington and his Famous Orch.--"I Got It Bad And That Ain't Good"-vocal by Ivie Anderson.
#20-1560, Side 8--Glenn Miller and his Orch.--"That Old Black Magic"-vocal by Skip Nelson and The Modernaires.
The Set is from new old stock; all basically new. The records are in excellent to E+ condition, from new old stock. No wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Cover and inside sleeves in great condition as well, still with original packing materials.
