VERY RARE!!! The Spits - Debut 7 Incher Self Released
Side A: Tired and Lonely / Black Kar Side B: SK8 / Saturday Night
Copy of the very first Spits release, now pretty scarce. I bought this at what had to have been the first show they played in town, in 1999 (?). The band was selling these out of a post office mail sack (packed pretty tight) after they played. I remember three different covers, maybe there were more. The cover is xeroxed black and white paper, as you can see, it's gotten bent up around the top, but still in alright condition. The sleeves were made about 3/4 inch taller than a standard 7 inch cover, so it's been hard to keep like new over the years. The record is in very good condition, only played a few times. The only other wear is a few dirt smudges on the back label and cover. I've kept it safe - stored upright and in a plastic polymer dust sleeve. I will ship free within the US, first class mail.
