Description
This is the first edition/second pressing on Ralph Records from 1977. The first pressing cover was in grey ink (like the reissues) instead of brown, and was limited to 1000 copies.
This one includes a rare insert that's essentially a surreal "application form" to join the Ralph Records mailing list. (AKA "Weirdos we have known" AKA "Ralph's Friends" AKA "EAT MORE RESIDENTS."
Fingerprince is a great leap forward for this band as far as recording quality--it's still lo-fi but features some audible frequency ranges that they hadn't tried out before...and as an experience it's closer now to a hilarious version of Stockhausen or Varese...maybe. Anyway one of my favorites of theirs, and it gets overlooked (as do the Residents themselves, of course).
