PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Long long ago very limited 2nd press in thick cardboard cover... one of the elite GARAGE ROCK albums from 1966 ... the Trans Radio first issue goes immediately for upwards $1000.00 ... in terms of rowdy primitive STONES inspired crude rock&roll, Rasputin & The Monks were up there with the Foul Dogs, Other Half (on 7/2 label) and few others that made the grade in this fashion. These cats only recorded a half album, but whatta sound!
The ONLY album by this grungy New Hampshire garage crew, formerly known as Rasputin & The Mad Monks, who ran through wildly cool primitive garage rave-ups versions:- I Want To Be Your Man, You'd Better Move On, Gotta Get Away, You Didn't Have To Be So Nice, 19th Nervous Breakdown, As Tears Go By and Roadrunner. In the 'prep-rock' genre along with those priceless Philips Academy bands' LP's and the Justice releases, this is for the hard-core garage-rock collector ...the never see original LP is priced accordingly, going for near the $1000 USD mark. The New England garage band Rasputin & the Monks has an odd release history. In 1966, their only recording took up one side of a very rare LP, the other side of which had unrelated music by a school prep band. Some 30 years ago, the Lp was reissued as a one-sided LP on the mighty Resurrection label, which, after 29 years, no matter how it came out, has never exactly been easy to find in your local record store. Of the seven tracks - no less than five of these were either written by or covered by the Rolling Stones on their early records. Rasputin & the Monks inject an appealing raw enthusiasm into their versions...
