RAMMELZEE VS K. ROB "BEAT BOP" (AKA RAMMELLZEE) TAR TOWN RECORDS RE-ISSUE OF 1983 12IN. JEAN MICHEL BASQUIAT COVER ART. SIDE A: VOCAL SIDE B. INSTRUMENTAL. COVER: Strong VG+ (Has some shelf wear on edges and light ringwear. NOT Bad at all ! VINYL: NM Great super clean copy !!!! This is the high quality FIRST reissue from many years back. What can I say but ESSENTIAL to any music collection period! One of the most important hip hop releases of all time. Sampled by The Beastie Boys and others, influenced many including Cypress Hill etc..... This reissue looks EXACTLY like the OG copy and sounds fantastic. If you don't want to spend $1,000 dollars or more on an original (and good luck even finding one! I've only had it once in my life and I've been diggin' since the mid 80's) than you should cop this. Basquiat only did 2 album covers and this was his first. Many people think that the original was an actual silkscreen or hand done but that is not true. The original was pressed up in a small pressing and distributed to record stores but was limited and obviously sold out quickly back in 83. Profile label than put it out with-out the Basquiat artwork. Anyways, one of the only ways to tell the originals from the repress is the original 12in plays at 45 rpm and the reissues play at 33 1/3. This plays at 33 1/3 even though inner label artwork says 45 rpm. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!! Note: All sales are final! PLEASE know what you are bidding on and ask any questions prior to bidding!
