Description
I met Bobb Trimble in the Fall of 1981 when I was a freshman at college. Bobb had just played with a band on campus and we talked at a fraternity party which followed. I talked a lot about Peter Townshend and Bobb talked a lot about John Lennon. A week or so later this LP arrived in the mail with thoughtful inscription and autograph.
I met Bobb a few times in the years following, even performing with him once in 1986. He was always a friendly, memorable character. In some ways it feels strange that he has become famous, what 30 years after I met him, but late recognition is certainly better than never. I do feel a little sad selling this (and in another auction an original copy of Harvest of Dreams), but as Bobb himself will tell you he lived for years selling his Beatles memorabilia. So, maybe this is spiritually contiguous.
The LP has been opened and was played it infrequently. It is in excellent condition free of scratches, etc.
