Description
Hard-to-find LP from Jack Wilkins titled "Windows" released by Mainstream Records (MRL 396) in 1973. Album has 6 tracks from trio led by amazing jazz guitarist Jack Wilkins. Features fluid, clean-toned archtop electric solos over some terrific grooves from drummer Bill Goodwin and bassist Mike Moore. Wilkins' cover version of Freddie Hubbard's "Red Clay" was sampled by A Tribe Called Quest on their song Sucka Nigga. Another tough record to find!
