The Beatles - Introducing the Beatles (Vee-Jay MONO VJLP 1062)

So many variations of this highly desirable record exist that We'll cut right to the chase and give everyone the specifics:

This is a mono original copy of Vee-Jay 1062 (vjlp 1062).

Jacket is VG++ to Near Mint due to slight creasing near the edges and a pin prick sized hole where a price tag was once stapled through the jacket. Cover is firm, clean and in wonderful visual shape. There is NO ring wear or signs of seam splitting whatsoever.

Labels: VJ logo is in brackets above the title and band name. Catalog number is on the center left hand side. It reads VJLP 1062 with the numbers 63-3402 beneath it. Labels are crisp and clean with no visual disappointments.

Trail off Side A: going from left to right on side A, the trailoff reads as follows: there is a small triangle with the numbers 6307 immediately to the right. About 2 inches around the cirumference, there is a small circular impression and 1/2 an inch to the right the matrix number reads 63-3402

Trail off Side B: Proceeding from left to right, there is a small triangle with the numbers 6307X immediately to the right. About 2 inches around the cirumference, there is a small circular impression with the letters MR inside (indicating that this pressing was produced at MR in circle in trail off means pressed at Monarch Record MFG Company in California. 1/2 an inch to the right the matrix number reads 63-3403. 1" further to the right there is another circle with the number 3 inside it.

The Vinyl is strong VG+ due to a few light, hairline scratches visible under close light..

Payment Policy: Payment is due within 10 days of auction's end. We accept paypal, Money Orders, checks (10 days to clear), bidpay and well concealed cash (at buyer's risk). We ship merchandise once a week on Friday by media mail with delivery confirmation & by airmail to other parts of the physical world.

Grading: Vinyl is strictly graded according to Goldmine standards. We try to do our absolute best in explaining the condition of an lp to you. Once you have won an auction, your record is cleaned, carefully packed and shipped in sturdy, industry standard record mailer. Paper items are graded visually with as much detail as possible.

Shipping: In the U.S., shipping is sent by regular post at a rate of 1.75 for one 45 or $4.00 for the first lp record ( up to 4 singles count as one record) and $1 for each additional record (or 4 45s). Canada is $5 for the first record and $1.25 for each additional record. The rest of the Americas and Europe, shipping is $11.50 for airmail or $7.00 for parcel post for the first lp and $2.00 for each additional lp. Shipping to Asia is $13 for airmail for the first item or $8 for surface shipping. Each additional item is $2.75. Multiple buys will help defray the costs of shipping immensely.

We have received several questions about specific details on this copy of introducing the beatles and hope we can provide some answers here. For starters, this appears to be what is known as the

1. The most common question we have gotten over the last week is whether their is a  1/4" overlap of cardboard at the top and bottom of the inside cover. This IS the case with the copy of Introducing we are currently auctioning. Of course, this is very hard to photograph, so the best we can do is ensure potential bidders that this is true.

2. The front and back slicks are bonded onto the covers. The carboard underneath is a grey tan variety.

3. George Harrison's shadow is visible.

4. the printing is semi-glossy. It is not a matte finish
